Hello everyone 🙂 Any good news in the world?
Biff, I recommend the Cooper Square Hotel, 25 Cooper Square, East Village. There are actually 2 or 3 bars, indoor and outdoor. We sat outdoors, on the 2nd floor, and it was really nice, but, if you’re going today, it may be too hot.

little branch, employees only, spotted pig, et al were fine when they first opened then became crazy crowded and full of a-holes. anyplace that has a line in the west village is auto on my sh*tlist. that includes magnolia. wtf is up with that place. their cupcakes SUCK and there is a line 24/7 rain or shine.
V Bar on Sullivan is decent biff. it’s tiny though, not good for a big crowd.
what’s wrong with little branch>
the other room in the far west village is nice though i think it landed on a bunch of citysearch / yelp type websites and was starting to get oddly crowded but it’s a great bar if you get there before the crowds. ditto for turks and frogs. downside to the other room is that it’s cash only. if anyone suggests little branch then slap them.
