M4L, that’s what daily vacuuming is for 🙂 But really, cats don’t bother me. It’s extreme heat and extreme cold that set off the asthma.

M4L, I don’t have a choice but to run the a.c. I can pay a bigger electric bill and breathe, or use a fan only and wind up in the e.r. with an asthma attack. Ambulance and e.r. bill is much higher than con ed rates!
hey WonTon I love Jalopy. Do you go often? I just took a fingerstyle workshop there and it was awesome. I wish I’d bought in Red Hook now… love the Stuy too of course but everything i do takes me to Red hook.
snappy, I got 1 of those old big fans (not these new tower fans) running and I rarely see the need to run the A/C – except when the little bugger is awake and gives me the curious look that he wants to stick his little fingers thru the fan blade wire guard.
I want rain! It will wash away all the 2nd hand smoke!
