  1. When you listen to these people with their signs outside the town hall meetings you can get a sense for how incredibly uneducated and plain stupid they are. Additionally, by their rhetoric they are racist in one form or another. They will believe anything you tell them without any attempt to understand anything.

Remember folks, intelligence is a bell curve and half the population is to the left of that “C” center line.

LOL…when I checked this post for spelling I noticed that instead of “plain stupid” I had typed “palin stupid.”

  2. well said, denton. Ok, Ok- I won’t email your wife with the details of some of your earlier posts 🙂

rob- I can only say that when we talk about cats the conversation is about cute and furry, and not about rather gross biological happenings. On the Ewwww factor scale of 1 to 10, cats are a 3 and the worm conversation was about a 15,000 🙂

  3. “But if there are any ‘fiscal conservatives’ left in the Republican party, they were sure quiet for the last eight years.”

    Worth repeating.

    Oh and one more thing:

    THE YANKEEEEESSS WINNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Arkady- I had a boyfriend who lived in one of the suites. that totally impressed me as I was in one of the single room dorms. The only amenity we had was a 10 stall bathroom on each floor 🙂

  5. “The middle of the road folk, the Reagan Republicans and fiscal conservatives need to leave and form a new party that is untainted by the poison Rush, et al, have installed.”

MM, you’re killing me here… with laughter.

The thought of Republicans being ‘fiscal conservatives’ went out around, oh, 1980 or so?

The Reagan admin ran up HUGE deficits. The entire ‘Reagan Revolution’ was based on borrowed money. I remember seeing his SOTU addresses where he used to talk about balancing the budget, even he used to laugh.

It took a democrat, Bill Clinton, to seek the advice of WS and pay the Reagan deficit down. Under Clinton, the 30 year bond was canceled, done, over!

The last so-called conservative, yeah, Bushie baby, took a huge surplus, spent it, and ran it way the fuck into a trillion dollar deficit. In eight years! And when John McCain, a man who I had the greatest respect for until Palin, asked how do you fight a war without raising taxes, he got handed a trip to the woodshed!

No Montrose, those fiscal conservatives were toast long ago. The last two presidents with a balanced budget were JFK and Clinton. You can argue about abortion, but not about numbers. That’s how it is. Hell, Durst had to take down his ‘deficit clock’ under Clinton!

I’m a fiscal conservative, and yes, frankly I am a bit worried about certain aspects of what is going on right now. But if there are any ‘fiscal conservatives’ left in the Republican party, they were sure quiet for the last eight years.
