what kind of terrorist that takes themselves seriously makes a video game reference at the end (with the font and the sounds)? and uses a hand held circular saw? huh?
Ok, PLUSAs, I have a friend who is coming to NYC with his 11 year old son just for one day and is looking for super cool things that his son would enjoy. My friend has been here a million times so he only cares about what his son wants to do. I suggested Top of the Rock (I think one has to do something like this the first time here and Empire State Building wait is just too brutal on a weekend) and The Sony Wonder Lab (apparently the kid is obsessed with video games).
ditto b – i’m curious to hear what ppl think of bing, since i tend to be something of a luddite. anything new can scare me.
and speaking of being scared..even though everyone thinks the be-headed statue of liberty is stupid, it kinda freaks me out..! i can’t see any of the youtube videos since they are blocked from work. but i’m definitely the target audience for a scare tactic video since i’m a giant chicken.
Thanks Snappy, DH and Joe. Since they’ll have limited time, I think a baseball game and museum might not work. I also thought about:
Nintendo store in Rock Center
Central Park
NBC / NHL / NBA Stores
NBC Studio
The Beast
I guess I should also check GoKids NYC
The statue of liberty crown is open now too.
Biff, is the kid a baseball fan? Take him to see the new stadiums.
Biff — Letterman show? very close to rockefeller center. maybe too young for that, I don’t know.
“Any other suggestions?”
I’ve always liked the Wax Museum in Times Square
thanks ken. just watched it. that was weird.
