Sam, most 11 yr olds now dont like Dinosaurs or Planetary stuff in museums – think a lot of that has to do with them get hands on computer and video game consoles so early on. When I visited recently sister in-law & family, was super surprised the young kids both have the apple itouch (on top of latest sony playstation, nintendo DS,…….).
Oh, fogot to drop in on the CP zoo (to see the polar bears and penguins) on the way to the model boat pool.
And make that have lunch at the pool not in the pool.
11 yr old is tricky age for suggestions. is that apple store near fao schwartz any diff / better than the normal apple stores? if yes, maybe he might like that

Thanks sam, I’ll add those to the list of suggestions
11 year old?
1) dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History
2) Hayden planatarium
3) Apple Store on 59th St.
4) Hot dog lunch in the model boat pool in CP
done!
DIBS, I once went to that place and wasn’t impressed.
Snappy, awesome idea!
Thanks M4L. Anything that is all around that location is a good suggestion for them, given the lack of time.
You could go play laser tag for an hour in times square then do lunch at the ESPN Zone.
What’s that Jekyl & Hyde place like on 6th Avenue??? Is that for kids???
