I thought it was never fully determined that his death had been intentional. I thought it had possibly been determined related to sexual asphyxiation. No?
What, I’m impressed by your INXS knowledge. Even though I saw them relatively early on in their career, I was shocked at how many of their tunes I recognized. They had a ton of great songs, from Original Sin right to the end. Shine Like it Does is really beautiful and my favourite of theirs.
What, I totally agree with you. I never want to speak negatively about the dead, but I do think suicide is a very selfish and cowardly thing to do, especially if you have a family with a young child/young children.

What/DIBS, haven’t we gone down the 80s list before?

I saw INXS at Butler University in 1987. A truly unbelievable concert. I was high for a week after.
His death was quite sad for me because he (and Rod ‘the Bod’ Stewart) had been the primary fantasy fodder for my teen years. His death aged me.
Now this unbelievably cool guy takes an exit at his own hands. Very sad.

“The second best “80s” concert I ever saw was INXS opening (can you believe they weren’t the closing act)”
No they was not at the top then. The next album I think it was “Kick” put them on the map!
In the early 90’s they was unstoppable!
