THL, that’s ok in my books. My peeve has more to do about people eating the food and not paying for it.
BRG, thanks for being a good sport about my comment. I feel bad about it, even though it was a joke. You looked very slim and trim at the last gathering, especially in those glass pumps. And on that note, I’ll see all you PLUSAs tomorrow. Have a fabulous night.
“LOL ENY you were a gift wrapper at macy’s? sorry but that has GOT to be the gayest job EVER”
You’re right Rob, it was pretty gay. But I was hard up and that was the only job I could get quickly. It was pathetic. We were trapped in the sub-basement (don’t ask) wrapping gift after gift like a bunch of slaves. There were several good-looking chicks working there, too, but being a part-time gift wrapper, I didn’t have the collateral to ask any of them out. But hey, I can wrap the HELL out of a gift, even today!
The Ground Round was a chain restaurant. Back in the day they’d let you throw the peanut shells on the floor but then stopped because of insurance purposes. Remember that one?
THL, yes, I rememeber…and a few other steak houses had nuts on the bar where you’d throw all the shells on the floor.
“DIBS, at least you’re paying for all of the nuts you enjoy.”
I don’t pay a subscription to post on brownstoner.
DH, that was awesome!

LOL Biff!
CH did not work in a diner. And your notes are getting creepier.
