Would you feel less insecure if instead I said high quality clothes?
It’s like most things we buy and consume. Low end kids clothes wear out and don’t last. High end is more than we want to pay. But even quality department store brands is more than we really want to pay (kids grow fast). So the solution that works for us is to go to a consignment store that carries high quality kids clothes at a reasonable price.

what exactly are “designer” kids clothes? wouldnt that teach kids snobby behavior at an early age? or are they just obvlious to it? i mean, i understand some teenagers wanting designer clothes, but actual kids? seems a tad ridiculous.

Are there any good consignment shops for designer kids clothes in Brooklyn?
We’ve been going to Clementine (W 4th St) in the Village for the last year and a half. Man, that woman knows how to run a shop – online system for the consignees, picky about what she takes in, rotates stock constantly, great prices, etc. If someone could replicate that in Strollerville they could make a killing.
LOL expert, i totally wish these kinds of places had to go thru community board approval too before opening up like liquor establishments do. i would totally get up and scream that hahahahah
