Park Slope Patch delivers an early report and says the pizza “was everything the perfect pie should be.” Like Lucali, the menu is limited to pizza and calzones, but unlike its predecessor, Giuseppina’s serves wine and beer. Has anyone been? How does it compare to the Henry Street original?

I agree with you on Franny’s (minus the pretentious service) – and I love Paulie Gees but gotta say his crust can be limp 🙁
Gem – if this is like Lucali, it’s not a slice joint.
Did anyone else hear the rumor that Spumoni Gardens is opening up a new place on 7th Avenue between 19th and 20th?
DH – I literally live less than a minute away from this place – I still hope I can walk my behind over there – but is this a “grab a slice” type place or no?

I’m pretty sure Iacono learned how to make pizza from Dom, so you gotta give it respect.
