Denton, LOL. I’ll have to try that.
1910, there’s always tomorrow! Just wait for the next cyclist vs. car thread and jump right in.
So the guy in the middle is explaining to the guy on the left – if you want water you press the lever.
In addition, the guy sitting down in the background appears to be holding up the marquee’s fourth pole which appears too short.
So much life in this pic.
i pretty much only drink tap water. except at work. but at home straight from the tap. it tastes really good. i think nj has better tasting water tho. i dont know if it’s better, but it always tasted better to me.

biff, if you’d clean the lens, you wouldn’t get that flare-y thing going on. I hear tapwater works wonders 🙂
Biff Champion. Yes. A bit disappointed, though, that I was going to start my first Brownstoner fight.
Thanks tybur6 and 1910. I assumed hydrant water would need filtering but am far from an expert on the topic. I learn something new every day. But I do drink NYC tap water regularly (and look how normal I turned out).
I really wish people would try to limit, if not totally eliminate, their consumption of water from plastic bottles.
they’d be cool if they didnt look like trashy gay bar urinals. there was one in soho for a while but no one drank from it, im assuming because it didnt look very inviting.

What’s great about filters is that folks wait too long to replace the carbon cartridges and you end up with a pass-through situation anyway. It just takes longer for the water to go through. Also, a standard carbon filter’s (limited) ability to reduce heavy metals is the first capability to go…
thank you tybur6. I proposed the filter on the water bottle as a half joke only for the squeamish. People need to get a grip.
