Well, rf, when i was 14, my parents would have had a hard time getting me to shovel snow, too. Back then, we lived in the country, and I would have actually had less to shovel than here, as we had a long driveway that was always plowed out by local guy with pickup truck and plow, so we only had to shovel the steps and the walkway to the driveway. We did have lots of fun sledding and playing in the snow. Good times!
G10, I’m still getting my car serviced at Manhattan BMW, but that may be about to change as my warranty expires next month. There’s a group of independent dealers that service BMW’s here’s the website.
rob – well actually this stage am probably lower class – haaa remember I was laid off!
my bmw is 8 years old and paid for – so that’s my excuse. Denton owns a business and owns a home – so why shouldn’t he have a car he enjoys driving?

We were watching some idiot across the street digging their car out like they were going somewhere. My street hasn’t seen a plow yet, and the only vehicle that could have gone through there would have been a snowmobile.
yep, same here. people throwing snow on each others’ cars and arguing.
Dona – God bless! I remember driving once in a horrible snow storm home to LI from Queens college on the LIE and it was the scariest experience of my life. no lanes, trucks blowing by me and just couldn’t see – so I couldn’t even imagine how treacherous the BQE and the verranzano must have been – am happy you made it home ok!
When I was coming home from Pathmark yesterday afternoon, I couldn’t believe the number of people who passed the garbage-truck-with-snowplow on the right, as I drove past Atlantic Yards on Atlantic. Chill! That’s the time to enjoy the plow, BEHIND it.
