With little fanfare (we just happened upon it via a link from one of their NYT listings), Aguayo & Huebener appears to transitioning to a new url with a new look and, more importantly, vastly better functionality for house hunters.

  1. Anonymous 10:12am,

I wrote the 9:34am and 9:49am comments (thought I was still logged in to TypeKey).

The last 6 comments are *not* clearly from A&H staff. They are actually more clearly from site visitors like myself and others who noticed the hard-to-miss major change (some even offering constructive criticism, not just compliments).

So, um…why the chip on the shoulder? Probably more a propos here to offer feedback on the topic (new site: like it or not? elaborate…?) than to just speculate incorrectly about the nature of Brownstoner readers.

This is right there on the front page of Brownstoner, for all to see, so it’s kinda hard to miss.

  2. The last 6 comments are clearly from A&H staff (maybe only one of you?). Do you think we’re all stupid? I’m a real estate agent in Brooklyn. A&H has the lowest reputation in our business of any firm in the borough. Bad ethics. Bad actors. Yuck.

  3. Ultra – very funny. I’ve been using the “we can’t let the terrorists win” line to get my way for a few weeks now.

I kinda liked the old A&H site. Sure this one is fancier, but the old one was nice, simple and easy to use. The property descriptions had a lot of information on them. Sometimes new isn’t necessarily better.

  4. I’m very pleased by this development. Many agencies face website challenges, but A&H didn’t cut n’ run. Instead, they stayed the course and ended up with a much better site. Now I can surf their site and find any information my heart desires…freedom is on the march.

A&H, your initiative sends a great message to the troops. Thanks for not letting the terrorists win!
