With little fanfare (we just happened upon it via a link from one of their NYT listings), Aguayo & Huebener appears to transitioning to a new url with a new look and, more importantly, vastly better functionality for house hunters.

  1. I heard a rumor that the new site is the first step in splitting the company into two halves. Not sure how credible that is though… so take it for exactly what it is–just a rumor floating around town.

  2. I actually saw an A&H ad that said “brokers welcome,” so maybe they are changing. And they have far from the worst reputation of any firm in Brooklyn. It would be great to be able to work with them!

  3. I could barely load the old site, so this is an improvement. Still, why on earth in 2006 can’t you run a search on co-ops vs condos or neighborhoods or bedrooms or budget. This only ranks things.

Sorry but the Evil Corcoran has been doing this so right for so long that there is just no excuse to upgrade to a really limited site like this.

  4. Heh, this person said it him/herself:

They’re another broker. Troll pattern makes complete sense now. Pity, these bad/unprofessional apples make the home buying process so tedious, but here we are.

Setting filters accordingly. Feel free to continue with baseless ad hominem attacks of actual readers here, it’s just comedy at this point.

    Cheers, webster

  5. Yeah, right. This really sounds like just your average Brownstoner reader commenting here. And I quote:

“I’m very pleased by this development. Many agencies face website challenges, but A&H didn’t cut n’ run. Instead, they stayed the course and ended up with a much better site. Now I can surf their site and find any information my heart desires…freedom is on the march.”

Freedom is on the march? Pathetic!!
