This three-bed, two-bath duplex at 42 4th Place was just renovated, but some of the newer features feel pretty cookie-cutter to us. A few of the apartment’s older flourishes remain – some of the hardwood floors, for instance – but we’re not sure how well they blend in with the newer flooring in the rest of the apartment. Otherwise it’s a big old space with a private deck. The apartment had been on the market for $6,000/month, but now it’s down to $5,800/month. What do you think?

  1. I don’t know the market to gauge the price, but there are a lot of things right about this apartment (W/D, minisplit A/C, new appliances, private entrance) however the big thing is the 3rd/4th floor may be a turn off for someone with kids. Sure the floors are kind of lame, and the contractors white and the kit cabinets. But it seems rather workable from the listing.
