Rental of the Day: 715 Carroll Street

For $3,400 a month, though, we wish they’d made some better aesthetic choices when it came to the renovation.

Man, that is one weirdly written listing:
“True Dining Room Offers You And Your Family 5 Star Meals Parties & Memories To Die For.” (snark)
Yeah .. . wow. No wonder I don’t have 5 Star Meals Parties & Memories To Die For.
Well, I do have all of those, but in lower case. And not in a True Dining Room. Not the same, obviously.
Wait. Who gives five stars?
As DeLepp said, this is a failed condo project, hence the amenities. I happened to pass this building when they were having an open house (when they were still trying to sell it as a condo). There is a reason these didn’t sell: their layout is LOUSY. If your idea of high living is a long, narrow apartment, this is the one for you.
That is why the floorplan is not included.
Blayze: here’s a perfect example of an obsolete walk-up building that I was talking about a couple of days ago.
Yeah, kitchen and bathrooms really not bad for a rental. But price for size seems really out of line. The good school would add THAT much? Really???
Is an electric fireplace a place where you can light an electrical fire?
“”True Dining Room Offers You And Your Family 5 Star Meals Parties & Memories To Die For.””
does that mean you can’t eat easy mac with cut up hot dogs in it?
I will die for the memories…
when this place drops to 3 grand. No, make it 2,500. Then I’ll be dead.
The radiator goes under the small window, it is resting on a piece of wood, probably the floors were re finished.
i like it, love the bricks, and the wood.
no floor plan though.

I don’t know nuthin about babies and schools.
I don’t think the bathroom and kitchen pics are bad at all for a rental.
