We noticed just recently that the fence was down at 447 Clinton Avenue and it looked like the lengthy renovation (three years!) was nearing completion. We noticed just recently that the fence was down at 447 Clinton Avenue and it looked like the lengthy renovation (three years!) was nearing completion. Now a rental listing has popped up on the Brownstoner Marketplace for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit in the former mansion. We only wish there were more pictures but it looks pretty darn nice from the one interior photo of the apartment! The original plan called for four rentals in the main house with another two in the carriage house. According to StreetEasy there is also a two- and a three-bedroom apartment on the market.

Yes, the two cute recently renovated twin houses on Waverly (424 and 426) rented in a jiffy at the high asking price I heard.
I’m not surprised. From my recent experience, Clinton Hill’s rental market is heating up.
Yeah, as I thought — “additional sleeping loft” — if it’s really a 2 bedroom, zoned for ps 11, and 1100 square feet and brand new and in a MANSION, it isn’t overpriced at all. Am jealous.

It was listed as a 1.5 bedroom, and for that I was really, really interested. Would love to see a floorplan. 1100 square feet would be nice.

Even crazier is the $5000 2br in the same building. Lovely, lovely building and it would be a joy to call it home, but $5K 2brs in Clinton Hill in this economy?
DH, Clinton Hill doesnt have those high rollers in billyburg. it’s mainly cheap asses in my hood
