246 Frost Street is a pretty cool rental in a 19th century converted firehouse in Williamsburg. You wouldn’t know you were living in a firehouse past the building’s exterior, but the gut renovation is nice indeed. It’s a three bedroom being marketed as a home/office/studio, and the property is zoned for commercial and residential use. You also get a private garage, a Jacuzzi on your rooftop terrace, and dark room thrown in to the mix. That’s in addition to 5,000 square feet of space over two floors! The monthly rent ain’t cheap though: $8,300. Who the heck can afford that and wants to live on Frost Street, that is the question.

  1. The location does not matter since you have a garage.

Good for people who need to transport stuff around for work.

Kinda strange layout and rent though. Seems kinda high unless as you say it’s for a rich bachelor — maybe Vice magazine should set up their new HQ here.
