This design is a pretty interesting mix of some pre-war details with very modern looking renovations. And no matter how you cut it, this is a lot of space (2,090 square feet plus a basement and yard) in a convenient location. Think the $4,500 a month rent will fly?

Rob, it has three bedrooms.
it, i did not mean to say ghetto, i mean it’s straight up just blah in between various neighborhoods. that is way too expensive.

4500 dollars for a one bedroom? gtfoh. you can find 2 bedrooms in tribeca ( i know i know ) for less than that. prospect heights has some cool places and nice architecture but it’s still straight up ghetto.

I saw it a few weeks ago at an Open House and I agree with LincolnSlope. It feels like a dungeon. The finishes and lighting are nice but don’t fully hide that there is very little natural light. The floors are also very dark which adds to making the space feel cramped.
“What happens if you rent this place and then they find a buyer?”
They would presumably just take it off the market if it rented.
I went this weekend. Feels like a dungeon. The room downstairs has a carpetted prison feel. The rehab is really pretty, but it is very dark in there. The closets in the master bedroom are odd and force you to put your bed in a weird spot. The second bedroom is the kids room and the access to the patio is from there, which is also odd to me. Maybe they will get $4,500 but it would be ridiculous.
“unusually nice for a brownstone rental”
Yes indeed. Not a bad layout. Clever backyard division. Very creative. No comment on the $4,500 rate.
***Bid half off peak comps***
They also have it listed for sale since (I think) sometime in June.

So, how does that work? What happens if you rent this place and then they find a buyer?
