Rental of the Day: 128 Clinton Avenue
Here’s a pretty spectacular three-bedroom rental in a 1839 Clinton Hill “farm house.” The house, at 128 Clinton Avenue, looks well-preserved with unique details throughout; we’re even loving the bathroom. (The house was on the Clinton Hill House Tour a few years ago, we believe.) With a backyard garden and a front porch, that’s about…

I’d rent this place in a minute.
Am I the only one who thinks *rob* is hilarious?
…course i watch “The Office & “Seinfeld” so I enjoy laughing at people much more than with.
FWIW, I also think its overpriced for CH (especially that block). I don’t see a market for this beautiful home in that location.
I only brought up the BQE noise being a non-issue because we see those kinds of erroneous comments all the time.

I can hear the BQE thru all of that pink.
…
This one is about 18-20 lots in, with mature trees on both sides.
It might be more likely a visitor could sit on that porch sipping lemonade and be completely unaware there is a highway on the next (pretty long avenue size) block over.
“Original country farm house”
Oh the lies upon lies.
hmmm so 1750 a bedroom… still very high for that area no matter how you slice it. but i could see a group of friends renting it out and having Masterpiece Theatre parties and stuff.
seriously the owner is leaving all their stuff there so it’s already furnished with all that? there are some prime bedbug lovin’ furniture in that place, so many places for them to hide and crawl into.
advice to the owner: thoroughly vet your next tenant I.e. screw the credit check, go straight for the bedbug check of their current location.

Beautiful, but overpriced for the space and location. If I wanted to spend that much on a rental, I’d take this one instead:

Closer to the subway, not so close to the BQE, and a triplex.
Seems very high for being between the BQE and Myrtle. If they really want renters in by September 1, I’d guess the owners would need to be flexible on the rent.
Wow, what a labor of love.
I love it — I think, if I were renting in that price range I’d prefer crazy mezzanine house from the other day just because the location is better and it’s bigger, but I love this. Who would not?
Also, kind of refreshing to see a place that is not decorated as mid-century modern.
