This triplex rental at 778 Carroll Street received a pretty significant price reduction last week: it’s now $1,400 less than when it was first listed. The four-bedroom (with a library and a deck thrown in for good measure) looks brand spankin’ new. It’s big and someone must’ve just put a pile of money into the renovation but it seems to have lost some of its charm in the process. (Recessed lighting alert!) Still, there’s something to be said for 90-degree angles and everything working. It’s also between 7th and 8th Avenue, pretty prime Park Slope indeed. The reduced ask price is $9,500 a month. Think they’ll get it?

Totally insane rent for Park Slope. It’ll never happen. Guess this illiterate broker/owner got in over her head.
Any broker who writes about “in sweet” or “on sweet” baths should lose her broker’s license. What else doesn’t she understand about basic things like, you know, floorplans?
i hate, hate, hate diagnolly laid floors. i don’t know what it is, it just seems so terrible to me, be it wood or tile– diagnolly laod floors are a deal-breaker for me, unless I could afford to redo the floors before I moved in.
Finished like a McMansion in NJ. And I mean that as an insult.

am i the only one that noticed the broker wrote “in sweet” master bath for bedroom 1 and “on sweet” master bath for bedroom 2. really? is she kidding me? where is DIBS on this!
