This two-bedroom apartment at 76 Henry Street is located right on top of Siggy’s Good Food. The Marketplace listing is a third floor walk-up, which may be a drawback to some, but overall the apartment appears to be fairly spacious and in reasonable condition. It’ll set you back $2,400 a month, which isn’t a ton of dough for a two-bedder in Brooklyn Heights. Thoughts?

  1. BH, you thinbk that captures everything for rent??? You do know how to find a nice apartment in an area you want don’t you??? You ask the doormen. If there’s a particular building, you tip the doorman to get a call.

Just because something isn’t on the internet doesn’t mean it’s not out there. Christ.

  2. Rentals listings for this building

One studio and three one bedrooms – and all the one bedrooms are more expensive.

    Wanna try again, dibs?

  3. exposed trash can (a plastic one at that!) in the middle of the kitchen!?!? i thought people who lived in brooklyn heights were supposed to have class. that’s just NARSTY!

  4. “This is no more than 700+ sq ft. You can get a 750-800 sq ft apartment in a 24 hour doorman building in manhattan with an elevator for this price.”

-HA! We wish… Where? In the projects? Prime apartments like you describe are $3500. Studios or in doorman buildings are $2400 in good hoods…

Huh. Just checked Street Easy. 2 bedroom, at least 750 sq ft, doorman, no more than $2,400.

ALL DOWNTOWN: One apt at 500 Grand Street (Mitchel-Loma) in the LES.

ALL MIDTOWN: One bldg, eight apts in Hell’s Kitchen – west of 10th Ave, next to the feeder to the Lincoln Tunnel

    ALL UES: No matches

    ALL UWS: 1 listing

    Yep, theoretically.

Haven’t looked for a rental in awhile, but I think you could find a nice 2 bdrm in CG or Boerum Hill; possibly Cobble, but I am dubious. Realistically its hard to find a nice 2 bdrm in a good nabe for less.

the pictures make it really enticing though. 🙁

  7. Mid-block, no side windows, minimal light. No shots of bedrooms so really not sure what kind of apartment this is. Price is OK for a 2 bdrm in the North Heights, but hard to say if this is a two bedroom share or one plus den/office.
