mmmmmmm….sushi
I love sashimi more so than sushi; too much rice for me. I also love rolls.
I hate hate those westernized rolls that places have made up ie, boston roll, philly roll, etc. I like straight up basic fish.
Unagi and Spicy Tuna being my faves.
I also love Tuna, Sweet shrimp, yellowtail, Salmon, mackerel (sp?).
Not a big fan of Toro. Hubby looooves it.
I also don’t like anything with Roe on it. I hate that popping feeling in my mouth.
Where are you going for sushi?
My favorite place is in the village, Tomoe. A little non descript place on Thompson St. The wait at times can be unbearable, but my god, it is the best sushi!! The fish melts in your mouth.

Good morning usual suspects! How’s it hangin’? I had my interview, which went well, but I didn’t get that ‘feeling’ so keep your fingers crossed for me that other interviews are on the horizon for me 🙂
Rob- I hear to much time spent sitting on a bean bag will have the same effect.

The What, I did eventually read the comments in the commenting thread and, while I’m obviously biased, would think this blog wouldn’t be the same without the usual suspects around, including you.

I find it vile, but I had an ex who loved that stuff. Every time he would order it in a restaurant, the waiter would ask, “Are you sure you want natto?”
chicken…i’ve heard of casu marzu but never had it. I’m planning to go to sardinia next year and will find it.
However, I love the fried insects you get on the street in bangkok and MY NEW FAVORITE BEER SNACK is gusanos de maguay in Mexico…fried yucca worms…they are so good…just crunchy and salty…mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. better than friggin chicken fingers at some Irish bar, Christ.
Don’t get me started on chicken feet and spitting the bones out at the table. Aiyyyaaahhhh, mo yee tai.
