That’s aluminum siding?
Kind of charming? It’s almost 900K for some aluminum siding on a workman’s cottage. On Metropolitan Avenue, which, don’t get me wrong, (I have lived on it before), I like, but —
Okay, fine. Yeeeessss. It is a great deal! Please, someone buy it. How can you resist? I bet it’s zoned for ps 132~ and there are great restaurants!
If you loved Tribeca and adored Dumbo, I’m sure it’s perfect.
Warren St. House has an accepted offer, don’t know why they are having an OH.
truck traffic does suck there, but it’s a far cry from most of the wrecks I’ve seen in that part of the hood… almost all of them were asking more $$$ and they were in abysmal condition. this one is kinda charming. pretty sure the white castle stench never drifts past graham…
haha wber! true, but at least it’s mostly residential bldgs (no White Castle or music venues across the street) – but yeah, truck traffic sucks.
DH – “a nice stretch of Metropolitan”? Not sure there is such a thing! It’s a major truck/bus route, that gets traffic pretty much 24/7.
I like the “convenient to McCarren Park” part of the listing.
“The listing is kind of confusing — it says Unit 1, but then the description says it’s the whole house.”
Yes.
Also, is it currently three apts? Cause it says you *could* “easily” make an owner’s duplex with the garden floor.
Maybe that reader was posting from the 1970s?
Yeah, that Williamsburg house looks nicely renovated, is in a pretty good location (busy street but not that bad), and the price is within reason. What gives? Maybe the subway is too loud or something?
The listing is kind of confusing — it says Unit 1, but then the description says it’s the whole house.
