  1. I can’t imagine WT was a straight flip. Their furniture is too nice to be staging. It looks like a really nice home. Whoever did it has good taste which isn’t so easy to come by in any area.

Not sure about this price but I think most people are a little deluded when it comes to the pricing in WT. Its much cheaper than Park Slope but its not THAT cheap. Particularily when you are talking about something nicely done on one of the prime blocks. WT isn’t a flippers area so you rarely see a house for sale that isn’t a time warp to another era.

  2. 3:49… Are you referring to the WT that was priced at $999,999? As in 200K over asking after 1 open house?

If I remember correctly, that house needed a fair amount of work when compared to this one.

  3. On WT–
    Yes, 3:22–free the porches.
BTW, I hear the one around the block on 16th (posted on B’stoner a couple of weeks ago) went for 1.2. And that one needed a lot more work than thissy hear one.

  4. I don’t think Stuy Heights has expanded to Putnam yet. Even the broker doesn’t call the Putnam house Stuy Heights, they just say it’s near it. I don’t think anything north of Macon is the Heights.

Don’t get me wrong – I wish it did extend to Putnam or Madison. There are some ugly buildings getting built in nice blocks. .
