Other than its width, there’s really nothing to quibble with at this new listing at 62 Prospect Place in Park Slope. The four-story Queen Anne is gorgeous from both outside and in. In addition to all the old-school charm, there’s also an attractive modern kitchen on the ground floor that leads out into the simple but well-executed back yard. It’ll be interesting to see how the asking price of $2,150,000 flies. Might just work.

  1. The Living Room, Kitchen Dining should be on the same level, a more convenient flow.
    The bedrooms belong upstairs.
This so called Garden Level, aka basement should be the kids play room, rec room, laundry room, workshop, whatever room…..

Who needs 2 parlours on the same floor. or a kitchen below the Living room, that is ridiculous.
……and who are all these people that are constantly entertaining, too much HGTV ummmmm

  2. I just noticed the sale sign on this house the other day. It’s a beauty from the outside, and on a block with a lot of other beauties. If it’s 2,740 SF, I’d say $1.9 get the deal done, maybe $1.95.

It looks like they picked it up in 2005 for $1.2. It must really have been in bad shape.

  3. ACHL, I wasn’t sure if you were speaking to me at all. i think we were arguing rather heatedly over something just yesterday but for the life of me I have no idea what the hell it could have been.

    🙂
