House of the Day: 142 Dean Street
This brick townhouse at 142 Dean Street just hit the market. It’s got lots of original charm and is 25 feet wide, which give it a shot at achieving the asking price of $2,750,000, we guess, but this really seems like boom-time pricing to us. We don’t think the current market can support it. That’s…

Nobody wanted it then, Ditmas. I’m sure you’ve been in a bar and no one was interested in you on that particular night and then you might go back a few years later and, voila.
Nomi, I meant this one:

At $617psf, that HOTD seems well-priced.
I wonder what happened when they tried to see it 2 1/2 years ago?

Pigeon and Donatella, you seem to know nothing about this neighborhood. Why post? That is a beautiful block, and you never “feel” Atlantic Avenue, although residents sometimes cross it.
Price seems crazay, as does the other Pacific Street house BSD posts. At least that one has been recently renovated, which doesn’t appear to be the case for this one on Dean.
The agent, Jim Kerby, lives very nearby this listing. In fact, I wonder if it’s his house.
I meant the house, dumbass. 🙂
Pigeon, yes, the A train.
brooklyn lager is not an outlier. almost every bodega stocks it. i have data to prove it.

Pete,
I think people who live in this house would be more likely to cross Atlantic to catch a non-F train, and less likely to take the F.
Nice catch, antidope. But it’s an “outlier.”
