House of the Day: 73 Willoughby Avenue
This new brownstone listing at 73 Willoughby Avenue isn’t perfect but it’s still pretty nice, nice enough that we suspect its $1,499,000 asking price will attract some interest. 73 Willoughby Avenue [Douglas Elliman] GMAP P*Shark
108′ is actually longer than most. Not that size matters.
PropertyShark sez:
Bldg dimensions: 20.42 ft x 40 ft
Lot dimensions: 20.42 ft x 108.33 ft
propertyshark, it’s not on DOB site
What city listing do you have that gives the depth of the building? DOB?
Houses got deeper as artificial illumination got better and more reliable. Federals are 30 feet deep at most.
Our house is 45′ deep on a 90′ lot. From floor plans I’ve seen, there are a bunch of buildings in Park Slope that are built to over 60′.
The exterior plantings do look great! Too bad the side bay is right against that building.
The irony is, Fresh Direct doesn’t deliver to this block.

Actually, I totally made that up.
All the ones on my block are 50′. Depth DOES NOT include the stoop.
This is a new low for a broker to stoop to, including stoop in the square footage.
Not that I really care that much but why was there no COTD???
