If you’re going to ask $1,325,000 these days for a house in Bed Stuy, it better be pretty darn spectacular. This new listing at 371 Greene Avenue, while perfectly nice, is a far cry from spectacular, though. The entry hall still retains its original charm, but the rest of it, judging from the limited number of photos, appears to have suffered from having been subdivided into three units. What do you think is a more realistic price?

  1. Yeah, hard to get my head around the thought process that went into setting this ask. This house is several hundred thousand more than several houses for sale or which have such sold in Clinton Hill proper so they best be ready to negotiate downward. 850-900 would be the reasonable ask for this house.

  2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Anyway – sorry but isn’t the tippy-top price point for “prime Stuy” for a knock-out type house maybe 800-900K???
    MAYBE????????

  3. the price is targeted specifically to hunt the “I” word buyers. Seller, good luck. BTW, drop down a trail of nuts leading to the house – ie if you dont draw out an “I” word buyer, you at least got the squirrels’ attention & maybe appearance too.
