House of the Day: 371 8th Street
This brownstone at 371 8th Street surely has great potential for an intrepid renovator. The 12.5-foot-wide house may be in need of a gut renovation as the listing points out (hence no interior photos), but the exterior is charming and the location is nothing to sniff at. You want gargoyles? Oh good god have we got gargoyles. They are coming out of our ears. Leaded crystal, plated gold and platinum gargoyles bedeck the bath. Even the handles are fancy schmancy. You’d love it. Oh and the color matches the aroma. Purple haze for lavender and that sort of thing. 😉
What, dibs? You can’t walk on water?
Thanks DIBS.
