While measuring in at a modest 2,322 square feet, the three-story house at 381 Bainbridge Street in Bed Stuy looks like a nice option for a young family looking to have their own place. For the same price as a one-bedroom at 189 Bridge Street, you get three bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen and a yard, along with lots of beautiful old woodwork. (Our only quibble with this place is the exposed brick, but that’s remedied easily enough.) For $659,000, this place is in surprisingly good shape, having been recently renovated. Think it’ll fly?

I want someone from the projects to come on here and comment about the house and the area, and what they think of the price.

Nice house though. Any insights on the immediate surrounding area? I know there is a project right there…but there is also one near where I live in Fort Greene. Any ray of hope commercially yet? Or just nice big homes in various states of disrepair?
Yes, this building is just around the corner from the Brevoort Houses. Get used to the sound of gunshots. On the plus side, plenty of hot, scantily-clad women strutting their stuff during the summertime.
Also notice how the What first says he won’t tell us the addresses of the two properties he supposedly sold, but that they were sold them for “398 and 410 respectfully”. What, don’t be an Asshat. If you don’t give us the addresses you don’t need to say “respectfully” as there is no address to refer back to.

The main problem with this property is that it is next door to BREVOORT PROJECTS. Which is a notorious projets. Many crips bloods. So be ware. Imagine your wife kids etce. I think this is a hard sell and should strongly be reconcidered due to the safety issues. The hood has not changed as yet and with the current economic crises it will likely turn for the worst. This property is OVER PRICED>> RUN!!
