We’re hoping that some of you made it to the open house for 395 7th Street so you can give some first-hand feedback on how the new brownstone listing stacks up. The one-family pad is in good shape and has been recently renovated. It’s major drawback is its size: It’s only 17.5 feet wide and three stories tall. Do you think the asking price of $1,775,000 will fly?

“Nothing like feeling cramped for $2 mil.”
I suspect it’s more space than you’d get in Manhattan at 2mm.
wasder, this is NOT good enough for Noki. location and size is lacking
For almost $2 million you would expect a little more space. Nothing like feeling cramped for $2 mil.
yes, photos are perfectly clear on broker website, blurry on Brownstoner Marketplace.
regarding the photos, looks like an issue with brownstoner marketplace…
Noki?
Looks like it was nicely done. I never care for the painted woodwork and you really feel the width in this one. Something about this house seems exceptionally narrow, even narrower than the actual dimensions. Nice garden, not a big fan of the building that it is up against it, along with the window that look out onto the house. I guess it will go near ask.
It seems to me that 1.7 million could buy a much more impressive and roomy house in the NY Metro area. My advise to buyers is go afield a little.
Price seems about right. I’d take down the parlor wall and gain a more open feel. And what’s with the pictures
