We’re hoping that some of you made it to the open house for 395 7th Street so you can give some first-hand feedback on how the new brownstone listing stacks up. The one-family pad is in good shape and has been recently renovated. It’s major drawback is its size: It’s only 17.5 feet wide and three stories tall. Do you think the asking price of $1,775,000 will fly?

  1. Oh good lord. This is NOT the discussion I had meant to start. Lovely place, Real New Yorker, but If a nearly 4 million dollar brownstone on 1st Street in Park Slope is JUST ABOUT TO SELL — ABOVE ASK (!) — well, off it goes then.

  2. If interested, better make an appt here asap! Open house had over 20 people on the sign in sheet within the first hour or so. and more pouring in upon leaving…great bones and location, major utilities/mechanicals all updated thruout. in addition, the full height basement was converted to a mancave/den in the middle area, smartly walled off from the mechanical room on one end and a workshop/storage area on other so its very usable extra space. considering the traffic at the first OH, this will def go for asking or more…put in your offers now!
