This one-bedroom co-op at 151 Joralemon Street in Brooklyn Heights that just hit the market ain’t huge but it’s got quite a nice feel to it in our humble opinion. We wish there was a photo of the allegedly recently-renovated kitchen, but the rest of the apartment has nice original detail and appears to be in good shape. Asking price is $345,000 and the monthly maintenance is a low $537. What do you think of it?

You gotta wonder what they’re hiding behind that shower curtain.
I’m feeling a little dirty myself for defending it so vigorously. 😉
“Sorry, no dogs or birds.”
Guess I’ll have to sell my emu before buying.
And I think I’m the new pimp for B. Heights. I’ve defended the reno at Love Lane and now this.
What next? Liking the people that live there??
Agree with 11217, I think it’s a great ‘little’ apt for the price.
I’m an equal opportunity pimp.
11217, if you’re going to pimp, get back to the original program and pimp Park Slope – ie why buy this when you can get XXXX in park slope for $XXX and it have way better XXXX.
I’m requesting an ID check – suspect my boy’s account has been hacked.
yeah, the wall makes it a 1 bedrm. but given the size and fact bathrm is accessible thru the bedrm, this is competing against the bigger studios. hence I react to the pricing vs those bigger studios
This apartment costs $2104 a month to own (maintenance and mortgage).
With the tax deduction, you are effectively paying around $1600-1700 a month to own a 1 bedroom in the best part of one of the best neighborhoods in the city.
Find a cheaper comparable rental…I dare you. You’d pay $3500 to rent this apartment in the West Village, 500K to own it. Brooklyn is still a deal, even Brooklyn Heights.
