Co-op of the Day: 60 Plaza Street East

If you’re going to post a bunch of dark, crappy photos of an apartment, you might as well include a stuffed animal in each of them—you never know when your buyer might be a plushie. This particular place at 60 Plaza Street East in Prospect Heights is fairly large for a studio and does have an enclosed terrace, but the listing could benefit from a little staging, especially if they have any hope of achieving the asking price of $369,000.
60 Plaza Street East [Arlene Greendlinger] GMAP P*Shark
This price really astounds me – I recently bought a studio in the same neighborhood for below $200k, and that included an eat-in kitchen and common garden.
I wouldn’t consider paying more than $225,000 for this one.
Can these pictures be anymore darker. I say.. none.. none more darker.
My building on Plaza St. West (arguably a nicer building in a better location) has had two studios on the market for months. One has lowered the asking price to $299K.
Let the price-chopping wars begin:

$339,000
“This must-see studio boasts high ceilings, finished hardwood floors, kitchen with new granite counter-tops and tiled backsplash, stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove as well as modern track lighting. Includes windowed bathroom with over-sized porcelain tub and walk-in rainfall shower, plus a walk-in closet with changing area. Building is FiOS wired with Verizon. Sale includes LG air conditioner and TV.”
Is this the first floor? Guaranteed to sleep 3? 3 what, exactly? Where’s the price widget for this one? Offer $299 (and you’ll STILL be overpaying).
like the cat.
“a perfect “Accidental Baby†space'”
That made me laugh out loud… and not LOL crap, but actually laugh.
cats in all her listings: http://www.arlenegreendlinger.com
and a bit odd. in one listing for a unit with a small office area, she says ‘It is also a perfect “Accidental Baby†space’. i want to meet her now.
Not a bad effort considerding the broker appears to be 4 years old and living in 1955. That said, she should at least have had the cat sitting on the toilet in the bathroom picture.
(oh and the apartment seems horrible, dark and very overpriced, but I don’t mind the look of the building from the outside)
