If you’re going to post a bunch of dark, crappy photos of an apartment, you might as well include a stuffed animal in each of them—you never know when your buyer might be a plushie. This particular place at 60 Plaza Street East in Prospect Heights is fairly large for a studio and does have an enclosed terrace, but the listing could benefit from a little staging, especially if they have any hope of achieving the asking price of $369,000.

  1. This price really astounds me – I recently bought a studio in the same neighborhood for below $200k, and that included an eat-in kitchen and common garden.

I wouldn’t consider paying more than $225,000 for this one.

  2. Let the price-chopping wars begin:

    $339,000

“This must-see studio boasts high ceilings, finished hardwood floors, kitchen with new granite counter-tops and tiled backsplash, stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove as well as modern track lighting. Includes windowed bathroom with over-sized porcelain tub and walk-in rainfall shower, plus a walk-in closet with changing area. Building is FiOS wired with Verizon. Sale includes LG air conditioner and TV.”

  3. Not a bad effort considerding the broker appears to be 4 years old and living in 1955. That said, she should at least have had the cat sitting on the toilet in the bathroom picture.

(oh and the apartment seems horrible, dark and very overpriced, but I don’t mind the look of the building from the outside)
