We like the feel of this one-bedroom co-op at 220 Congress Street in Cobble Hill, even if the kitchen ain’t much to look at and we strongly dislike the bathroom sink. The built-in shelves in the living give a cozy feel and the corner orientation provides nice light; at $677, the monthly maintenance probably comes out to about a dollar per square foot (no exact size is given). And there aren’t really a ton of real apartment buildings in Cobble Hill either. The asking price is $499,000, slightly less than a 750-square-foot apartment down the hall just closed for.

  1. “I’m actually cobblehiller.

    And I’m bi.”

Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

and how did I get dragged into this when I so very carefully avoided posting in this thread!

[and why am I commenting at 4 am?]

  2. “since we’re playing that game today i’d like to formally come out and say that i am bayridgegirl.”

Huh, how did I get dragged into this nonsense.
Rob, are you sure you want to admit that?

And btw…I am me, and no one else.

  3. I checked this unit out at an open house a month or so ago. The building feels cold, the hallways aren’t very nice, the exterior isn’t very nice, there isn’t much to like about it. As far as the actual unit, I was really turned off by all the built-in shelving, it forces you to have junk out. Kitchen needs work, bathroom needs work, bedroom wasn’t anything special, $499K is a joke right now.
