Condo of the Day: Montauk Club Mega-Spread
Wow. Could this 4,000-square-foot spread at The Montauk Club be the coolest apartment in all of Brooklyn? If it had outdoor space it would be a lay-up. As is, though, the entire floor of the historic club is pretty darn impressive, with its 45-foot-long ballroom and original leaded glass windows, mahogany wainscotting and inlaid mosaic…

This time, the listing’s claim that this is a “once in a lifetime offering” isn’t B.S.
25 8th Avenue Condo [Brown Harris Stevens] GMAP P*Shark
incredible piece of real estate. super sexy and very impressive…but seems way overpriced for what it is, especially with annual taxes of $14,000+
how many other apartments are in this building? anyone know what floor this is on? i would hope it’s at the top.
I wouldn’t use the word “loft” in any description of this place. Is there an elevator? I assume there is.
Holy S….I love it.
Used to be the dining room.
You should join the club 11217!
Do I get to keep the picture of Teddy Roosevelt, staring at me as I sleep?
DIBS, maybe 500K? I hate to think of all the things I saw back then. Then again I bought my first place in London Terrace in 1992 for 50k.
I honestly don’t know how first-time buyers get in these days.
So what do you all think of the price??? I say it goes for asking price or within 10% of it. No less.
That main room isn’t looking very cozy though. I need an 80x20ft antique persian sultan’s rug. I’d better factor that into the cost.
Holy Jesus. I love it!!
I live within spitting distance of this building and NEVER tire of walking by and staring at it. I think it’s one of the most spectacular buildings in Brooklyn. The apartment itself looks stunning.
