This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Fort Greene, Bed Stuy, Park Slope and Boerum Hill. How did they fare?

First, this Fort Greene one-bedroom duplex loft unit that once belonged to Brooklyn rapper Biggie Smalls is large, attractively renovated, and boasts a shelf-lined library as well as a wood-burning fireplace, but there’s a catch. (Several, actually.) Billed as a two-bedroom in the listing, the unit at 159 Carlton Avenue appears to have only one legal bedroom, going by city records, and it’s currently in use as the living room. This former Co-op of the Day sold in December for $2 million, which was $300,000 over the asking price.

Filled with gleaming woodwork, this 1890s Bed Stuy brownstone has some fine original details as well as modern updates. A renovation of the single-family at 312 Lewis Avenue retained features like pier mirrors, wainscoting, mantels and plaster medallions while updating the electrical, plumbing and HVAC. The floor plan is much as it would have been back in the 1890s, with dining room and kitchen on the garden level, double parlors above and two floors of bedrooms. This former House of the Day is still on the market.

In the Park Slope Historic District, an 1891 Romanesque Revival townhouse has a pale stone exterior with scroll details and an embellished gable at the top. Set up as a garden rental under an owner’s triplex, the two-family hasn’t changed hands in decades. Interior details include a center stair, pier mirror, pocket doors, stained glass and bold mantels. This former Open House Pick sold in February for the asking price of $4.3 million.

Finally, in Boerum Hill, an architect-designed reno mixed with original details like marble mantels and plasterwork give this townhouse a bit of Brooklyn old and new. The interior of the single-family at 269 Warren Street has been featured in film and television productions, although the listing is coy as to the actual titles. The dining room and kitchen are on the garden level with front and rear parlors above and two floors of bedroom space. This former House of the Day sold in February for $6.125 million, which was $175,000 under the asking price.
