This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Marine Park, Williamsburg, and Bed Stuy. How did they fare?

Details in an early 20th century house in Marine Park include arched openings and stained glass. The semi-detached single-family also has a sunroom and off-street parking. The former Open House Pick entered contract in August.

With high ceilings, two private terraces, and deeded parking, this condo seems more appealing than average. It’s on the second floor of 170 North 11th Street, aka The Lucent, a 28-unit, six-story building that opened in 2006. This former Condo of the Day entered contract in September.

Lush with 1890s detail like elaborate wood mantels, a grand staircase, and a passthrough with marble sinks and built-ins, a Bed Stuy townhouse was back on the market after a 2020 sale. At 164 MacDonough Street, the house was previously renovated with updated wet rooms and central air. This former House of the Day sold in May for $2.625 million, which was $475,000 under the asking price.

This Bed Stuy angled-bay house is one of a row completed by 1893 by prolific builder E. H. Bishop. It is set up with an owner’s triplex and a top floor rental. A House of the Day in 2022 and a more recent Open House Pick, it entered contract in August.
