This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Brooklyn Heights, Bay Ridge, Crown Heights, and East Williamsburg. How did they fare?

This top-floor Brooklyn Heights one-bedroom has prewar details like wall moldings, picture rails, and wood floors along with a kitchen that seems generously sized for the scale of the apartment. Located at 35 Clark Street, the seven-story building is just a short walk from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in October.

The developer behind this row house was “bullish on Bay Ridge” during an early 20th century building boom in the neighborhood. There is still some of that era’s detail to be found in the bow-fronted house at 536 76th Street, including stained glass, a coffered ceiling, and parquet floors. This two-family house is set up as a single-family with four bedrooms and a basement with a home office, mud room, and laundry room. This former House of the Day sold in November for $1.24 million, which was $35,000 under the asking price.

There are only a handful of photos for this circa 1909 Renaissance Revival-style limestone in the Crown Heights North Historic District, but there are glimpses of plasterwork, mantels, and molding. The legal two-family has an owner’s duplex with a top-floor rental. It sold to an LLC in June of 2022 for $1.55 million before going back on the market. This former Open House Pick is still available with another broker for $2.099 million, a price cut of $151,000.

In East Williamsburg, this 1940 single-family brick row house has a stylish interior reno and off-street parking. At 8 Sharon Street, the 18-foot-wide house is one of a row built with deep front gardens and front porches facing Cooper Park. Inside, the house has gotten some tweaks that kept some period details like stained glass and retained the existing floor plan while opening up the kitchen and adding some storage. This former House of the Day sold in November for $2.335 million, which was $85,000 over the asking price.
