This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Sunset Park, Bushwick and Park Slope. How did they fare?

A compact one-bedroom on the second floor of an early 20th century Finnish co-op in Sunset Park has been smartly renovated to preserve the bones of the apartment while maximizing storage and introducing a touch of vintage-industrial flair. This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in April.

In Bushwick, a circa 1900 pale brick row houses has two units and two stories over an English basement. Details include wood floors, tile, moldings and two mantels. Kitchens and bathrooms shown appear to be in good condition although not recently renovated. This former Open House Pick sold in April for $1.3 million, which was $5,000 over the asking price.

While the exterior of this Park Slope brownstone has lost some of its Italianate details, the interior still boasts some fine 1870s features, including parlor classics like a marble mantel, ornate pier mirror, ceiling medallion and arched doorways. Inside, the 19-foot-wide house has a triplex with a top floor apartment. This former House of the Day entered in contract in December.

Assuring potential buyers that “the price is within reach of all who wish to live in this elite section,” the early 20th century developer of this Park Slope single-family took out lengthy ads to enumerate all the interior details sure to entice a buyer. Many of those are still in place at 573 4th Street, including wainscoting, mantels, a pier mirror and plasterwork. This former House of the Day sold in June for $3.75 million, which was $45,000 under the asking price.
