This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Prospect Heights, Beverley Square West, Bensonhurst and Crown Heights. How did they fare?

A reno has left the wood floors but tweaked many of the details in this Prospect Heights apartment, including carving out a second bedroom and adding a half bath. On the fifth floor of 230 Park Place — a short walk to Grand Army Plaza — the sponsor unit requires no board approval. Any Art Deco-era details that might have existed have been removed and the layout adjusted to close off a dining nook and create a second bedroom. This former Co-op of the Day sold in March for $1,237,772, which was $87,772 over the asking price.

It just takes a bit of imagination to see the potential of this early 20th century bungalow with its appealing porch, generous bedroom space and some original interior details. In the Flatbush micro-nabe of Beverley Square West, the single-family house at 327 Marlborough Road hasn’t changed hands since the late 1970s. On the interior there is plenty of space with living and dining room on the first floor along with a kitchen and half bath. Upstairs are four bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. This former House of the Day sold in January for $1.55 million, which was $99,000 over the asking price.

This semi-detached house in Bensonhurst has some nice details for lovers of early 20th century design, including vintage kitchen and bathroom features, parquet floors and a basement rumpus room complete with built-in bar. The two-family house at 1543 West 6th Street also has the bonus of a driveway and a garage. In the same family hands for decades, the house is still set up as a two-family, and while the interior has had some style updates, they lean towards the mid 20th century. This former House of the Day sold in April for $1.5 million, which was $150,000 under the asking price.

Recently renovated in parts but needing work in others, this Crown Heights semi-detached offers some original interior details, a bit of an architectural pedigree and a project for those looking for an old house reno. The Colonial Revival-style two-family at 817 Prospect Place, just a short stroll from Brower Park, sits within the Crown Heights North II Historic District on a stretch of street that was co-named for trailblazer Dr. Susan Smith McKinney-Steward. Going by the listing photos, the recent updates started on the top floor, where the two-bedroom apartment has a renovated kitchen and bath, but didn’t quite reach the parlor level. This former House of the Day was taken off the market in November.
