This week, our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Bay Ridge, Prospect Park South and Cobble Hill. How did they fare?

First up this week, we have a nicely proportioned one-bedroom apartment, with a location that is a short walk to Prospect Park, some prewar details and a flexible layout that allows for a work from home space. This unit still has some period touches on the interior, including parquet floors, wall moldings, picture rails and beamed ceilings. Entered through a small foyer with a closet, it’s set up with a kitchen near the entry and bedroom and bath at the other end of the apartment. A former Co-op of the Day asking $699,000, it entered contract in May.

Next up, in Bay Ridge is an estate-condition property, an early 20th century brick row house with a windowed and enclosed front porch. It also boasts a shared driveway leading to a garage. The single-family house has living, dining and kitchen on the main floor with three bedrooms and a full bath above. Downstairs is another full bath and a rec room in the semi-finished basement. There are still some period details on the interior, including an original stair, parquet and built-ins. The kitchen and one bath that are shown were more recently renovated and appear in good shape. This former Open House Pick sold in March for $845,000, which was $35,000 below the asking price.

With a gambrel roof, columned portico and expansive front yard, this next one, a Dutch Colonial Revival single-family in Prospect Park South, offers some curb appeal along with a coveted Brooklyn amenity: off-street parking. The detached home is also just a short stroll from the Parade Ground. It hasn’t changed hands since the 1980s. While the listing photos show that some TLC is needed, there are plenty of vintage details, including parquet floors with inlaid borders, window seats, wainscoting, moldings and a mantel with a working fireplace. While there isn’t a garage, there is a driveway that, according to the listing, can accommodate three cars. The rear yard is fenced in and there is a concrete patio accessible via three doors from the first floor. A former House of the Day, it sold in May for $2.2 million, which was $225,000 below the asking price.

Our last one, a three-story carriage house on Cobble Hill’s desirable Verandah Place, was previously set up as two duplexes but the most recent listing encourages interested buyers to “bring your architect” to the just over 24-foot-wide house. The floor plans show that the house is currently set up with living, dining and open kitchen on the first floor, a bedroom and half bath on the second, and three bedrooms with a full bath above. There are beamed ceilings on the first and second floors to add some carriage-house character and each floor has a wood-burning fireplace as well. This former House of the Day sold in February for $3.25 million, which was $255,000 above the asking price.
