Once again, we’re back to look at four of our featured listings from six months ago, focusing on homes in Clinton Hill, Bay Ridge, Prospect Lefferts Gardens and Bushwick. How did they fare?

While it’s been updated to suit more 21st century tastes, this condo unit in Clinton Hill still has plenty of details. Unusually large, it has four bedrooms as well as a dining room. It’s set up with the living room in the front and a kitchen and bedroom at the rear. Stretched along the hallway in between are two more bedrooms and the dining room. The living room boasts parquet floors, an Ionic-columned room divider and wall moldings. Off to the side is a small windowed room set up as a home office but big enough to fit a twin bed. This former Condo of the Day sold in September for the asking price of $1.15 million.

Next, we have an early 20th century bow-fronted house that has period details like stained glass, parquet floors and a coffered ceiling along with contemporary updates to the kitchen and baths. A small foyer, ornamented with stained glass windows, leads to a hall with an original stair and parquet floors. The living room is at the front of the floor, taking advantage of the front bay, also ornamented with stained glass. There’s more parquet and modern built-in bookcases. The rear of the house has been opened up, incorporating the original Mission-style dining room with a modern kitchen. The coffered ceiling and some of the original wainscoting topped with plate shelves survives; it’s been painted white, as has all the woodwork in the house. This former House of the Day sold in September for $1.59 million, which was $35,000 below the initial asking price.

After that, we have an early 20th century Tudor Revival that certainly has curb appeal. On the inside, the single-family home has some recently renovated kitchens and baths and still retains some original details such as parquet floors and wainscoting and a coffered ceiling in the dining room. The house has main living spaces on the first floor and two stories of bedrooms above. The main level has parquet floors and original moldings throughout the foyer, parlor and middle parlor. There’s a fairly open plan feel to the rooms, with large openings in an angled wall dividing the spaces. This former House of the Day is still available for the slightly reduced price of $1.895 million.

And last, but certainly not least, we have the former Ulmer Brewery office in Bushwick. The building hasn’t changed hands since the 1980s and it’s now on the market as a residential property. The building is set up with one unit per floor, and listing photos show the first level has a bit more rough-hewn character than the second. There are high ceilings, exposed brick walls, beamed and wood-slatted ceilings, and some original window moldings and wainscoting. This former House of the Day is still available for the original asking price of $3.99 million.
