  1. I’ll take a bodega owned by Muslims and/or Hispanics over the overpriced Korean joint. Are we just requesting a place be more expensive so those young harmless black men don’t stand outside?

I am black and I live in Bed Stuy. I can’t afford to be priced out. Sorry. I refuse to be priced out.

park slope is three subway stops to manhattan too from the the R on union toAtlantic, then the N to Canal! actually that’s just two subway stops.

  3. Crown Heights does exist also south of Eastern Parkway and it’s not a bad, if sometimes more expensive place to shop because kosher goods are generally pricier. As long as you’re not looking for shrimp, Raskin’s fish is very good and fresh. There are several kosher butchers along Kingston (don’t look for pork products) and three bakeries. Along with these shops, there are also some hardware stores, cleaners, and clothing stores for children. There are additional stores (bakery, fruit, gourmet shop, bagels) on Albany and on Troy. I will admit, though, that eat-in restaurants here are generally sucky.

  4. plather 7 up, 2 down
word is consequent of the word “pessov”, however also combines the reality of pure laziness. The genuine definition relates to “Piece of Sh*t”, which is derived from the movie “The Siege”, where the Arab man screamed “you treat me like a pessov sh*t”. Used to describe something bad, unfavorable, or poor, however, without the need to move as many mouth muscles. “Plather” simply roles off the tongue in one smooth motion and can even be abbreviated “pltv”.

  5. article quote: “Being a real estate broker is akin to trend forecasting.”

Excuse me, I may have added to 1:51-

Or the other way around, one may go to a psychic forecaster for broker advice and the brokers will go out of business.

The above is an excellent example of “mixed use”. One may go to one’s real estate broker for psychic advice, and the psychics will go out of business. 😉
