I don’t think you even want to know what some of these people would say to that, cillmylandlord.
Some still seem to think they’re in Kansas City and want that 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home for 250K.
What rent should people be paying to live in Downtown Brooklyn? Really? I mean…seriously. All of those buildings Downtown run rent specials and the prices drop accordingly.
I find it funny that it’s ok to pay out the ass to live in F-train hell, two avenues of fun, landlord in the house Park Slope…but Downtown…don’t pay that! What should people be paying to live 3 minutes from Manhattan? What should people be paying to have a concierge, dry cleaning, washer dryers, elevators, trains, maintenance, a cab outside, etc.? Seriously haters?
Yes they are. And they will continue to be. This is New York City, not Little Rock.

And if you go along with it, you get what you didn’t fight off. prices cant drop if people doesn’t stop paying those high rates. if people wonder why they can’t save as much as they wanted to for retirement, rainy day fund, college fd for kids,…., stop paying these high prices or get a job where your income spikes as much as real estate cost have in recent yrs.
I heard ambien with some Vicodins is where its at…..
