What happened here! As of August, there was still some construction work left to do at Carroll Garden’s 114 4th Place, although a couple of the apartments had already gone on the market. Since then all four units were released and three have gone into contract, according to a broker for the project. While we don’t know final sales prices, two units entered contract while priced at over $1 million, while a third was asking $825,000. The last unit left is also priced at $825,000. Not too many interior pics to judge from. Has anyone been inside this place?

  1. hmmm….”echnically it’s outside of the charming part of CG”. I didnt think PJHanleys,
Frankies Spuntino, Prime Meats, MInibar were the depressed part of the hood. Have you been here lately?
While this isnt the nicest block in CG (actually it’s the infamous curb cut fanatical block) it
is right around the corner from some of the best restaurants in this neighborhood.

I believe this is the same developer as the Luquer St modern building around the block…
    the layouts/materials are very similar.

  2. I tried to look at these when they were listed last summer, but the construction wasn’t done yet. You’re paying for to live in Carroll Gardens here and have a completely new and modern living space, which is hard to find in that area. But, technically it’s outside of the charming part of CG and it’s close to the overpass and at the start of the depressed area of the hood. But, obviously people are willing to overlook that.

  3. – What is that overpass?
    On Smith Street

I don’t understand people that say they don’t have to look at the exterior once they live in it. Once someone plops down a chunk of dough for an apt, do they never step out of it? I would assume they’d have to go to work or go out to buy groceries, etc. therefore having to look at the exterior every time they come back home.
