  1. Re: The Crown Heights House. This really is in a nice part of Crown Heights, and despite the fact that the house is a bit small, having only three levels, the premium is for the location. Also, private parking in back via an alley is a nice feature.

  2. This post:

“Got a nice chuckle out of 1300 Carroll. Is there a reason why someone would pay 900K to live in “prime” crown heights, when you can get a virtually identical limestone in a decent neighborhood like Bay Ridge for much less?

I mean, don’t clean, quiet streets, good schools, low crime, and nice restaurants count for anything anymore?”

…Makes me laugh.. I would definitely choose Crown Heights over Bay Ridge… (and I am white, just in case you want to say something nasty) And all the places I have seen there are much better than some of the trashy stuff I have seen in Bay Ridge.. Bay Ridge is cheesy to me.. alas I don’t think I can even afford Crown Heights.

  3. Please don’t stop the comments here. The one lesson that I’ve learned from raising children is that if you give in to their rotten behavior, they think they can have won and get away with it forever.

  5. Can someone please explain the floorplan of 62 Midwood to me? How can there be a skylight on the 3rd floor when it’s underneath the 4th floor bedroom? Or, is the skylight in the bowed area…?

  6. Anon @ 1:57 My point is you’re making a huge assumption that the current owner “NEEDS” to sell his place at all cost. If he regretted not taking the $1.2 offer, why not price it at $1.2? He obviously raised the price, which tells me he still doesn’t regret not taking $1.2. On the contrary, he seems to regret not pricing it higher, which he now has done.

Now, whether or not he gets it? Who knows. I sure wouldn’t give it to him.
