Closing Bell: Getting to Know Prospect Heights

The blogger behindcasaCARA recently moved to Prospect Heights and is finding that there’s more to the area than just brownstones. A few of the things she points out are the carriage houses that harken back to when Flatbush Avenue was a main route for horse-drawn vehicles, the pre- and post- war apartment buildings on Plaza Street, and On Prospect Park (which gets a thumbs up). She wraps up the trip at Vanderbilt Avenue’s Pequena. Pretty good start to getting to know the hood, we’d say.
