This listing in the Toy Factory Lofts strikes us as, well, insane. First of all, $659,000 for a 690-square-foot apartment in this condition in this location? Don’t think so, especially when the same money will buy you a 900-square-foot one-bedroom at the significantly more upscale Oro next door. Secondly, these are the anti-staging photos. Could they have taken worse pictures? You couldn’t create clutter like that if you tried. It almost makes us wonder if the whole listing is a joke.

  1. the projects are the best views you can get in this building considering every other view is about to be blocked by large towers going up on every other side. so what’s wrong with projects views anyways? you probably get a slice of ft greene park and you get morning sunlight too. not saying the apartment is worth it though.

  2. 12:53, 2 minutes IS a long way to walk, especially once you extract yourself from the maze of the layout and climb underneath the ladder.

This post and the subsequent commentary are crazy amusing. I love that that listing exists.
