right, we wouldn’t want anything to interfere with the contextual jersey brickface and other (worse) rooftop extensions that litter the block.
on one of the historic / landmark blocks in cg, i can understand the sentiment, but here? you practically need a canoe to get there.
echoing a few others here, I think far greater aesthetic crimes have been committed on this block.
I think they could have pushed it back so it’s not so visible from the street? Anyways I would love to see the inside.

It looks neat and nicely done.
Kind of clunky on the outside but it looks like the space inside will be great. I, too, am happy to see that neighbors have preserved the cornice-free, mid-century products of Garden State Brick Face and Stucco.
It doesn’t look so bad to me. I’ll have to check it out in real life.
Agree. It would have been a lot nicer covered in that faux stone like 40% of the other houses on the block.
